"Because nothing was too much trouble for your rugby playing delivery man in a Santa hat, who helped my elderly parents put up their beautiful tree."
"When you told us our Nordmann was a non-drop tree and it just needed love and water, we had no idea that we would still have a beautiful tree in our garden for Easter almost 6 months later."
We cut down your locally sourced tree the day before we deliver it with a big smile, straight to your door.

The Spruce Team grew up in the countryside loving nature and Christmas. In 2020 we decided that we would "Do Different" and make your Christmas even more special. After an amazing first three years, we are back and doing things even better. We know how much you love our trees, because you tell us, that our trees last longer, that you don't want to take them down and they smell like a Christmas tree should!
Every Christmas more than 7.5 million real trees are sold in England. The majority are grown in Europe. Our trees is grown in Norfolk and Suffolk and are certified by the British Christmas Tree Growers Association environmental code of practice. We cut them the day before we deliver, and we believe they are the freshest trees you'll find.
Our trees take seven to eight years to grow to the required size and every year that we cut down trees to sell at Christmas we are planting more to replace them.
The environmental value of our properly-managed, organically-grown trees is quite extraordinary. They benefit the environment through cleansing the air and supporting nature and wildlife. The trees provide a haven for an abundance of birds such as partridge and pheasant and they provide welcome shelter for creatures on more exposed ground. As the trees fill out, the trees provide nesting sites for small birds. In spring and summer hoverflies feed off the aphids that live on the trees, they also attract butterflies and moths.
So that is us-Spruce the green Christmas tree company. The originals!

Collection & Recycling
After Christmas our trees can be collected, chipped, taken to zoos or mulched and turned into compost, through the help of our friends at Norwich Farmshare and through our partnership with the East Anglian Children's Hospice. Mulch is great for suppressing weeds (and is amazing for blueberry plants). It also helps to keep the ground moist in dry spells and warm in winter. Spruce are the originals are the first company in the country (perhaps the world) to provide this sustainable service at Christmas.
Buy a freshly cut Spruce Christmas tree.
Leave your Christmas tree outside or in a cool place (ideally in water) until you are ready to put it up.
Just before putting your tree in a stand designed to hold water, saw a small slice off the bottom of the trunk. This enables the tree to drink water, just like a cut flower. If the tree is not put in water straight away, you will need to cut another slice off the trunk.
Pop your Christmas tree away from heat sources such as radiators and fireplaces.
Give your Christmas tree regular fresh water and keep the stand always topped up above the base of the trunk.
Guess what? Your tree may drink more than a litre of water a day, depending on its size and how warm the room is.
